Mercury was appointed in March 2023 to represent this ultra-luxe bohemian hideaway in the Maldives, featuring 26 beach and ocean houses and residences. With eight new resorts launching in the Maldives in 2023, we are focused on ensuring The Nautilus stands out despite having no new aspects until the private island launches in 2024.

Coverage achieved in top titles such as Conde Nast Traveller, Elite Traveler, Robb Report, Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour, Citizen Femme, GQ etc. Mercury also harnessed media stays have included The Telegraph, The Times, Mayfair Times, Vogue, SheerLuxe, etc. Also secured ongoing profiling opportunities for key spokes people such as Marine Biologist and Chefs . Successfully we drove coverage for low season in the Maldives by focusing on marine activities and assisted in the continuation of the Ananda in the Himalayas partnership
Approach
We have developed a press office with a regular frequency of releases, but also continuously issuing very targeted in the body of an email pitches too, from topics such as multi-gen and solo travellers, cultural experiences, to the absolute USP of the marine biology and dive courses. Key partnerships have included Hummingbird Travel for the first ever Hum Club private charter from London to Malé, and a wellness retreat ‘Energy Harmony Retreat’ in collaboration with Ananda in the Himalayas. This included a tailored gourmet cuisine incorporating anti-inflammatory Ayurvedic philosophy where the fundamental food tastes are carefully combined with macronutrients.
