Appointed to launch the UK arm of Ghelamco, the major European pioneering real estate business, renowned for the creation of sustainable energy neutral concepts. Its first foray into the market is with the The Arc, a mixed-use hub in Shoreditch, East London. The brief was to not only provide awareness of their British venture (and future projects in the pipeline), but the corporate brand and its track-record, along with the 28-year Head of the UK, Marie-Julie Gheysens.

Approach
Mercury issued regular releases, which focused on the Arc’s sustainability credentials as a fully electric building boasting carbon emissions 30% lower than its multi-fuel-operated competitors; with triple certifications including BREEAM,WELL Gold, alongside being the first UK development to be DGNB gold certified.
We also announced the landmark sale of The Warsaw HUB complex toGoogle Poland, in the largest single transaction in the office market inCentral and Eastern Europe (CEE), whilst highlighting the almost 170 sq ft ofoffice space available at The Arc.
In May 2022, we commissioned a white paper with renowned futures consultancy, The Future Laboratory. The analysis explores and unravels the ubiquitous term ‘sustainability’ and looks at how to plan for sustainable future proofing in green developments. We held a panel discussion event at their headquarters on Berkeley Square, Mayfair, with a design director from Savills Earth, along with our architects and landscape architects.
